Paper Trail Gravel Trail - Vermont Pt 2
May 7, 2022So much fun was had, my website can't keep up and I get to break up this excursion into two parts! Yay!
Day 3:
Miles: 44.25
Feet Climbed: 4,327 ft
Total Time: 4 Hours 6 minutes
Our second to last day was truly the cherry on top of a set of wonderful days! We had an extra guest stop by for the ride and gee was it wonderful having him pop by for a few hours! When we got to our bikes the day just said "HEY ENJOY THE WEATHER!" The skies were blue, the birds were chirping, and Vermont views were POPPIN' OFF!
When we got to lunch we were able to have a few more amenities, like a table and this wonderful covered bridge (which is the longest in the state!) So many people came up to us during lunch asking us what we were all doing. It is so wonderful getting the chance to talk to strangers and see their reaction to what we do. It's safe to say that between Mark, Paul, Debra and myself we love what we do and the opportunity to bring you all along for the ride.
It’s definitely hard to sum up with words how special each of the locations we get to experience are. In how many lifetimes could we be presented with the opportunity to explore and rest at Rudyard Kipling's house. If anyone has the answer to that, don't let me know. I enjoy the surprise life presents me.
It is my hope and goal that with each of these entries it gives our readers and future clients the opportunity to answer question for themselves. Being skeptical of what it is we do on these trips is natural. Taking a chance to travel with us, to relax and reconnect to parts of yourself is what I hope these moments achieve.
Thank you for taking a moment to feed your curiosity, and to learn more about what it is that we at Paper Trail Gravel Travel aim to achieve.
Day 4:
Miles: 10
Feet Climbed: 651 ft
Total Time: 1 Hour
I unfortunately was not able to stay for the full 4 days. It seems that these days life is calling in more ways than one. Nevertheless, I will always do my best to be present with the people that mean the most to me. To everyone who joined us on this trip, thank you for making it extra special. Truly, getting to spend time together getting to know one another better is a dream come true and hopefully as life progress our roads will merge again.
Until then, stay stoke on life friends and encourage one another to reach their dreams. To those who encourage and believe in me, thank you. I'm working my tail off to make myself and you all proud <3
